About Vergennes Grand
Vergennes Grand will repurpose and renovate the existing building on North Street in Vergennes. The building will serve as many as 88 residents when expansion and construction is complete. In addition to a tastefully designed expansion, the original 1820 historic building will be restored back to its original Italianate splendor.
Vergennes Grand is designed to serve seniors of all financial abilities by participating in various state and federal programs that support the “forgotten middle” of the senior population who need and deserve, dignified housing and care.

The finished community will offer studio, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom apartments for independent or assisted living residents and will also offer private and semi-private accommodations in the memory care suite.
A wide variety of amenities will be available for use by all residents including:

Construction began in October 2023 and expected to end early 2025.
Residents will begin to move in February 2025.

Senior Living in Vergennes
A new senior living facility is coming to Vergennes, thanks in part to a $500,000 Community Recovery and Revitalization grant. A building on North Street is being transformed into Vergennes Grand, a senior living home that will house 84 residents of all income levels. Construction includes expanding the 1820s structure and restoring it back to its original Italianate style. Residents are expected to move in in early January 2025.
